My Summer ‘24 Internship: Meet The Press

I am thrilled to announce that I will be joining the NBCUniversal Internship program for this summer, working on Meet The Press with Kristen Welker in Washington, D.C. I thank the NBCU Internship Team and the producers of Meet The Press for this incredible opportunity, and for making this application process fun and straightforward.

While there are too many people to count who have helped me reach this point, there are few people I’d like to thank. First is one of my journalism professors here at The University of Texas, Dr. McElroy, who helped to point me in the right direction when I felt lost at one point during the application process. I’d also like to thank my high school journalism teacher, Mr. Schwartz, who taught me the skills that got me to where I am today, and my friends and mentors from PBS NewsHour Student Reporting Labs who helped me to develop them further. Finally, I’d like to thank my parents and extended family for all the support they’ve given me in my pursuit of a career Broadcast Journalism.

I can’t wait to embark on this exciting new adventure with NBC News this summer.
